Sick Children

Well, this past week has been a little busy, as usual, but ended with Matthew getting sick and now Lily is starting to. The flu has been spreading around the office and we had several people out Friday. YIKES! I hope I don't get it. I've been spraying disinfectant spray everywhere at work and at home! So, it's Sunday and I'm stuck at home with two sick children! At least I can get caught up on some house stuff.

Coming up in the next couple of weeks, our church is hosting a medical van in the local migrant community next Saturday. We'll be feeding people all day from 9-4 while the migrants come by and get medical treatment from doctors and nurses. BUSY! Then the next Friday (March 7), I'll be turning 30. So, I'm sure we'll be doing something that weekend.

Not much to report right now, but things are just hopping along! Hope you are having a great Sunday!

Presidential Primary

Well, 24 states held their presidential primaries yesterday and I cannot believe the way that Americans are voting. I understand that it was a hard decision and most people just don't know how to vote. But, Christians, I am disappointed. I know that there are more Christians out there than what voted. It is time that Christians start standing up for what we believe in and put the right man in office. We did that with George W. Bush, and we can do that again with Mike Huckabee. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes and we should be standing behind him. Obama took most of the votes in the democratic party while Clinton took most of the delegates (so far). McCain took most of the delegates in the Republican party while it was a very close race between the three among voters. What are we going to do, when we have a muslim or a woman running this country? (If you have a problem with that statement, I don't intend to offend anyone, but I personally vote according to the Bible-and my Bible tells me that a woman should not be the head of the household, much less the country) It is a scary time in America right now and we had better be praying for our next leader. I have seen that anything can happen and that every vote counts. Make your vote count! And Pray!
